Here at The Wentworth Guesthouse we aim to ensure that as many people as possible are able to have a comfortable stay with us, regardless of any individual needs they may have.

The following information gives you an insight into what we are able to offer to meet those needs.

Before arrival we will request any dietary information that you may have and ensure these are available for your stay. We can cater for a range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten free, lactose/dairy free and vegan options.

Situated in Devon, there are obviously numerous hills to negotiate when exploring the local area. We are able to offer flatter routes into Paignton town centre. There is also a bus service that runs direct from Youngs Park Road, just a short stroll from the front door.

There are regular bus services that run to Brixham and Torquay. 

The train and bus stations in Paignton Town centre also offer routes to a multitude of destinations.

Ferries can be caught from Paignton Harbour.

Taxi services are readily available in the local area.

It is possible to hire mobility aids whilst staying with us. There are various shops offering these services in the locality. 

The Wentworth is only accessible by stairs. We have no ramps or lifts to  support access. For this reason we are unsuitable for guests fully dependent on well chair use. 

Our front steps have hand rails on either side and we have an outside light to aid visibility at night. Within the building, all stairs have hand rails. 

Our guesthouse is set out over four floors. 

There are two guest bedrooms on the lower ground floor. Oyster Cove, our dog friendly room, is accessed by a private entrance on ground level. The second, Fairy Cove, is accessed by a flight of stairs within the building.

The ground floor is home to the breakfast room and guest snug. 

On the first floor, reached by an internal flight and a half of stairs, you will find four guest rooms; Greenway, Hollicombe, Parkview and Goodrington. 

On the second floor and up two more flights of stairs you will reach Tree Tops and Roundam, our top floor bedrooms.
