The Wentworth is within a short walking distance of all the attractions.
Our location is second to none, as the front of the hotel overlooks beautiful Goodrington Park and lake, with its wealth of birdlife by day and the breathtaking illuminations at night.
Goodrington's sandy Beaches, North and South, are very close by, at the end of the road (200 metres). There are no busy roads to cross and they offer excellent safe bathing for all ages.
The cliftop Fairy Walk is nearby, as are the Boating Lake, Crazy Golf, and the Quay West Water Park – within 200 metres level walk.
Both the North and South beaches – warmed by the Gulf stream - just at the end of the road, offer excellent safe bathing for all ages.
Torbay Leisure Centre is just across the Park, as is Goodrington Station where runs the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway, who have welcomed the Flying Scotsman and Thomas the Tank Engine in recent years.
At night Paignton seafront and pier come alive with illuminations and is perfect for an evening walk. There are plenty of entertainment venues, including live music and other music for all tastes. There are numerous other excellent food and drink outlets.
